Did not start anything from seeds this year!
Flats are on sale at Frattalone's - impatience, marigolds, and red salvias to start. Their petunia wave should be on sale next week.............
The Minneapolis Farmer's Market is in full swing................sea of colorful beds of flowers line each section...................
Picha's Farm - annual plant sale.............great way to support local business........heirloom tomato plants...........Mr. Stripey, Green Zebra, Caspian Pink, and Old German to name a few...............

Fishing........
Finally got my new gear from Elkhorn Rod and Reel - from their Ladies Line Gear.....................I love it!

Biking.............
Missed opportunity to purchase last year's model - Trek FX 7.9 or 7.7.................Ugh!

I am behind on posting so much to catch up on................
Garden - no starting from seeds...........will be going to plant sales and will review pictures taken last year to map my planting and start my shopping list.

Fishing -Postings will start with some of the highlights of events the past months and gearing up for opening fishing!

Biking - Aside from going to the gym and participating in a spinning class, have not been on the bike trails...........also will be shopping for a new bike!

I am an avid gardener, who will be sharing her gardening successes and failures. While dividing her time between biking the metro trails and her new passion of fly fishing, the in-between times are attending city park concerts, reading, enjoying the company of family and friends, and of course, praising God's blessings and awesome creation.

A novice at fly fishing, but a seasoned fisherwoman. I welcome your comments as I share my adventures of fly fishing, my new passion, in the Midwest and eventually out 'West'. A change of venue from lake to rivers/streams. It is a concentrated effort to switch from spin casting to fly casting......no wrist action.

This is my second summer biking the Metro Trails. My old Trek (mountain) is getting a workout the past two summers then the 16+ years that I have owned this bike. I would like to share some of my adventures taken as my miles have built up to an average of 25-35 miles a ride. The first summer the rides have been on the limestone gravel trails; and this summer they have been more road/paved trails. As I share with you, please be encouraged to ride and to pedal along the trails and don't forget to share a comment or two.
